Twilight Night has been a North Hills tradition for the last several years and was sorely missed in 2021 as schools were still virtual, but this year, we welcome student performers back to the stage for the return of “Twilight Night: A Starry Preview of High School Musicals!"

This year, Jim Lueers, Memorial Park Church’s Minister of Worship and Arts, is thrilled to welcome back this much-loved tradition of hosting high school musical performers from North Hills area schools for a sneak peek of their spring musicals.

The show lasts across two nights -- Feb. 3 and 4 at 7 p.m., when students from schools throughout the North Hills will put on an exciting showcase, offering the community a chance to preview the talented performers who will grace the stage this spring. Throughout the evening, a give-what-you-can donation will be collected benefiting North Hills Community Outreach, which provides food and financial help to those most in need in northern Allegheny County communities.

“Twilight Night provides an opportunity for all students to perform on an even playing field with no costumes or props—truly a way to showcase the talent of these young people, and all to benefit a great cause,” says Lueers.

In what is usually a highly competitive atmosphere, this event brings students and musical lovers together to use their gifts for the good of the community.

Previous performers included students from North Hills, Hampton, Northgate, Pine Richland, Fox Chapel, Eden Christian Academy and North Allegheny.
