North Hills School District: February 3 Event Changes Due To Winter Storm

We are announcing several schedule changes for later this week due to the impending winter storm.

Thursday’s school board meeting will now be held virtually via Zoom. To register to attend the Zoom webinar, click here.

The meeting will also be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel. No registration is required to watch live on YouTube.

Please note: You must be registered for the webinar to make a public comment as there will be no option to comment through the YouTube livestream.

Thursday night’s showing of the middle school's winter musical “Moana Jr.” has been postponed to Sunday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

All tickets purchased for Thursday night have been transferred to Sunday at 2 p.m. If you are unable or do not wish to attend on Sunday, you MUST request a refund by emailing Joe Vozza at vozzaj@staff.nhsd.net by Friday, Feb. 4.

If you plan to attend on Sunday, there is nothing you need to do. Your tickets for Thursday will get you into Sunday’s show.

Friday’s and Saturday’s showings are not impacted at this time and will begin at 7 p.m. as scheduled.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens age 65 and older, and are still available at this link.

The swim meet is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3, vs. Mars has been postponed until Monday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. The varsity girls basketball game at Penn-Trafford remains at 6 p.m. Thursday but is subject to change.

Dr. Mannarino and his administrative team will be closely monitoring the forecast and will make changes to the school day schedule for Thursday or Friday if necessary as soon as possible.
