North Hills School District Not Implementing Coronavirus Testing In Schools

The North Hills School District is not implementing the state’s Test-to-Stay program as some have falsely suggested on social media.

Last summer, in our approved health and safety plan, the district stated it would participate in a COVID-19 testing program if it was free and non-invasive. As such, we received tests from the state in September when they first became available.

As additional details of the state’s Test-to-Stay program were finalized, we decided it was not a program we wished to implement. However, we are on the list of schools participating, shown in the “onboarding” status, because we received the tests.

NHSD has no plans to implement a testing program in our schools.
