During homeroom, all students were asked to write down “something that gives them hope” on a Post-It note. The notes were then collected and used

to create a “#ThereIsHope!” mural in the hallway leading into the cafeteria.

Stand Together students also displayed mental health facts and resources on every fourth locker in the hallways to symbolize the one in every four

youth who are impacted by mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

As members of Stand Together, students design, create and implement projects for their peers similar to this through the school year to increase education and awareness, promote social inclusion and encourage students to reach out to an adult they trust when they are worried about themselves or someone they know.
