North Hills School Year Ending With Kennywood, Concerts & More

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Classes are about to end for the year in the North Hills School District, but there are still plenty of things to keep track of before students and teachers go their separate ways for the summer.

Peruse the rest of the school year calendar and you’ll probably find an event or activity of interest to you or your children that you were unaware of:

• May 19: Prom Promenade, 5 p.m. in High School Auditorium; Senior Prom, 6:30 p.m. at Heinz Field.

• May 21: High School Bands Senior Farewell Concert, 7 p.m., middle school auditorium.

• May 22: Rock the Hilltop Guitar Concert, 7 p.m., high school auditorium.

• May 23: Middle School Spring Choirs Concert, 7 p.m., middle school auditorium.

• May 24: Grade 7 Bands Combined Concert, 6:30 p.m.; Marching Band's Get Acquainted Night, 7 p.m., middle school auditorium.

• May 26: NHSD Kennywood Picnic Day.

• May 28: Memorial Day. No school for students and staff.

• May 29: High School Jazz Band’s senior farewell concert, 7 p.m., high school auditorium.

• May 30: A.W. Beattie Career Center Senior Recognition Night, 6 p.m., Martorelli Stadium.

• May 31: Last day of school, early dismissal for students.

• May 31: Board of Education Work Session, 7 p.m., Middle School LGI Room.

• June 1: Graduation, 7 p.m.Martorelli Stadium

• June 2: West View Safe Summer Fair, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in front of West View Elementary

• June 7: Board of Education legislative Session, 7 p.m.Middle School LGI Room.
