North Hills Seeking 2019 Sports Hall Of Fame Nominations

The inductees will be honored at the annual Hall of Fame Diner in September.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - North Hills School District is accepting nominations for its 2019 Sports Hall of Fame from now through April 1.

Established in 1995, the Hall of Fame honors individuals who have distinguished themselves in athletics during and/or beyond their years at North Hills High School or the former West View High School.

Last year’s inductees included former North Hills athletic director Don Cardone; Josh Eddy, class of 2005, a cross country and track and field athlete; Emily Jamison, class of 2012, a lacrosse, basketball and soccer athlete; Paul Kress III, class of 1992, a team captain for the swim team and Mick Yokitis, class of 2001, a three-year starter in both football and basketball.

Inductees will be announced in June and recognized during the Annual Sports Hall of Fame dinner in the fall. They also will be introduced at a Friday night football game at Martorelli Stadium. Former inductees are encouraged to attend. An online nomination form is available on the district’s website www.nhsd.net under the Alumni heading.
