Owner of North Park Lounge to Open New Restaurant in Ross

There is a new owner of the former Sunseri’s (and before that Jergel’s, which ) restaurant at 3385 Babcock Boulevard, and it’s going to set up a head to head dining competition with the popular across the street. 

Mark Baranowski, who owns four restaurants in the North Hills, Pine, and Cranberry areas, purchased the property about a month ago. 

“He hopes to open the new restaurant in January,” said Amy Wisnewski, manager of the North Park Lounge at 8701 Babcock Boulevard in McCandless. “He needs to do some renovations and things are still very much in the planning stages, but he is planning to have live music there.” 

Baranowski also owns the in Cranberry, the Cabana Bar in Wexford, and , which opened in February at the Pine Tree Shoppes in Wexford. 

If Baranowski has name for his newest restaurant, he has yet to share it publicly. 

“I think the menu will be similar to that of the North Park Lounge,” said Wisnewski. “But things change everyday, particularly in this business, so you never know.”
