ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A two-year old girl was killed and three others injured early Thursday in a car accident on the Parkway North. The crash occurred about 1 a.m in the northbound lanes near the Perrysville Avenue exit. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the vehicle the girl was in was traveling in reverse for an unknown reason when the accident occurred. The girl, who was not in a car seat and was not wearing a seat belt, died at Allegheny General Hospital. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified her as Saryiah Jefferson of West View.The conditions of the others hurt in the wreck were not immediately available. The highway's northbound lanes between the McKnight Road-Evergreen Road and Perrysville Avenue exits for about four hours. State police continue to investigate the crash. Bring your family and friends to the Purcellville Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 7 p.m. rain or shine. This free, family-friendly event will be held at Fireman’s Field Park and inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink at 250 South Nursery Avenue.

Enjoy a full day of live music and performances across multiple stages, along with an art exhibit, games, chalk art, and a variety of interactive activities. Browse offerings from local vendors featuring handcrafted goods, food, beverages, and more. There will be fun for all ages, including face painting, glitter tattoos, sidewalk chalk art, and t-shirt or tote bag decorating. Local non-profits will also be on-site sharing information and resources. Special activities will highlight and celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. 
Inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink—transformed into the Art Hall—you’ll find more than 30 works of art, live performances, art demonstrations, and hands-on activities including quilt square decorating and an Instrument Petting Zoo.
