Parkway North Express Lane To Close

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The Parkway North’s northbound express lane in Ross and Ohio townships will be closed overnight for several periods next week.

PennDOT advised the express lane of northbound I-279 will close according to the following schedule:

• Monday Aug. 6: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
• Wednesday Aug. 8: 1-6 a.m.
• Wednesday Aug. 8: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday.

All traffic will use the northbound I-279 local lane during the closure times.

Additionally, the northbound I-279 off-ramp to Perrysville Avenue will close to traffic during the above timea. All ramp traffic will be detoured.

Posted Detour:

• Motorists will continue northbound on I-279 past the closed ramp.
• Take the Bellevue/West View (Exit 7) off-ramp.
• Turn left onto Union Avenue.
• Take the on-ramp to southbound I-279 toward Pittsburgh.
• From southbound I-279 take the Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) off-ramp.
• End detour.
