Parkway North Road Restrictions Begin Monday
Prepare for a long summer of restrictions and delays on I-279.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Road restrictions will begin Monday on the Parkway North as preparations continue for this year’s extensive work on the outbound side of the interstate.
The restrictions in Ross and Ohio Townships are as follows:
- A single-lane restriction will occur on northbound I-279 between the Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) and Camp Horne Road (Exit 8) interchanges weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- A single-lane restriction will occur on southbound I-279 between the Camp Horne Road (Exit 8) and Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) interchanges weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and weeknights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The Parkway North is in its second year of an $88 million reconstruction that isn't expected to be completed until mid-2019.
