Parkway North Traffic Stoppages Occurring This Weekend

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Motorists traveling the Parkway North (I-279) this weekend should be prepared for possible inconvenience. Traffic stoppages of as long as 15 minutes will occur in the southbound lanes between the Camp Horne Road and Perrysville Avenue exits.

The stoppages, which will occur between 7 p.m. Friday through 2 p.m. Saturday while crews remove barriers and perform line painting to prepare for the next phase of the parkway renovation project. Once the work is complete, traffic will be shifted to the new southbound lane.

The work is part of an $88 million parkway rehabilitation project.
