PennDOT Cancels Weekend Parkway North Work
The planned lane restrictions likely won't occur until next weekend.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - It’s going to be a wet start to the weekend, but because of that it’s going to be easier for North Hills motorists to get Downtown. With the possibility of flooding from the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy, PennDOT has canceled its planned southbound lane restrictions on the Parkway North.
PennDOT was going to reduce three lanes of southbound traffic to a single lane on the parkway mainline between the Venture Street and the North 28 East Street interchanges for the weekend, while keeping open one southbound mainline lane and the southbound High Occupancy Vehicle lane.
Weather permitting, those restrictions are likely to occur next weekend.
