Philly Pretzel Factory Coming To Ross

Chain's fourth western Pennsylvania eatery to open soon.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - North Hills residents are about to find it easier to buy pretzel dogs, pretzel cheesesteak, spicy pretzel sausages, pepperoni pretzel melts and other pretzel delicacies. A Philly Pretzel Factory is preparing to open on Babcock Boulevard across the street from Shenanigan’s Bar and Grille.

An opening date hasn’t been announced, but the eatery’s website confirmed its imminent arrival. The franchise owner will be Scott Kallen, a Philadelphia native who bought a Philly Pretzel franchise in Bridgeville in 2011.

Philly Pretzel Factory was founded in 1998 and today has more than 100 locations, mostly in the northeast. Besides the Bridgeville location, the chain’s other western Pennsylvania franchises are in Cranberry and Monroeville.
