Photographs inspired by the lyrics of the song "Simple Twist of Fate", Gallery Opening Reception, Friday, November 14, 6:30-8:30 PM

PJR Photography and Studio 1.0 in Bellevue, PA is pleased to announce a group photographic exhibition inspired by the situations and characters that comprise the lyrics of Bob Dylan’s song entitled “Simple Twist of Fate.” The show is the works of six local artists, members of the new and notable Collaborative Artists Projects (CAP) launched by Pamela Russell of PJR Photography and Studio 1.0. The works represent a 5 month visual journey to explore and photograph scenes throughout the city that are beautiful reflections of the song’s lyrics. From the scenes shot at the Priory on the city’s Northside to the explosion of the honky-tonk color along the midway arcade at the Butler County fair, the group’s desire to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary tells the “Simple Twist of Fate” story about meeting your soul mate, but the time just wasn’t right for you. You spent one great night with her and didn’t realize this was the person you’re supposed to be with until it was too late.

The newly formed Collaborative Artist’s group is a creative approach where each member has the opportunity to see their ideas come to life in the shape of a collaborative project. CAP is looking for additional dedicated artists so that we may build an even more creative team by pooling our resources with intent to see success for all. PJR Photography and Studio 1.0, established in 2010 as a professional Studio and Gallery exhibits works from local artists and provides a wide range of photography services. In addition, the Studio is rented by other photographers and the Gallery is rented for exhibition space.
