Police Alerted After North Hills High School Student's Threat
The threat spread quickly on social media today.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A North Hills High School student’s threat on social media spread quickly via social media Wednesday, prompting the school principal to say this afternoon that no one was endangered.
Township police were alerted and the incident now is being dealt with as a confidential student discipline matter. The specifics of the threat and the name of the student who issued it were not identified.
“The threat was not credible, but it was amplified by social media,” principal Beth Williams said. “All students and staff members are safe and secure.”
