Prepare For Parkway North Road Restrictions This Weekend

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - North Hills motorists trying to get Downtown this weekend via the Parkway North could be in for some headaches.

PennDOT again will have lane restrictions on the parkway’s southbound lanes between Venture Street and the North 28 East Street interchanges from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday. Three lanes of traffic on the mainline highway will be reduced to a single lane. One southbound lane and the southbound High Occupancy Vehicle lane will be open to traffic while bridge repair work takes place.

The repairs are part of an $87.9 million parkway improvement project. Work is occurring on the parkway’s southbound lanes this year.
