Registration Begins for North Hills Community Swim Program
The North Hills School District offers a 10-week community swim program, including swimming and diving lessons for children and adults, aqua aerobics and an instructor aide class.

Registration for the North Hills Community Swim Program is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011. Families may register between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the large group instruction room.

Children’s lessons will be held Saturdays beginning Sept. 17. Adult lessons are scheduled for Monday evenings beginning Oct. 3. The North Hills School District community swim program follows the American Red Cross certification program and offers instruction for preschoolers through level VI. The cost is $50 for swimming and beginning diving lessons. Advanced diving is offered for $125.

Aqua aerobics will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Participants can choose between a one or two class per week option for $25 or $45, respectively.
Participants in the instructor aide class, which provides training to become a North Hills swim instructor, must be at least 14 years old by Dec. 30, 2011. The cost is $50.
