RESULTS: 2012 WPIAL Track & Field Championships
Three North Hills Girls qualified for the state championships.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has received a list of the medalists from the 2012 WPIAL AAA boys and girls track & field championships, held at on Thursday night.

Congratulations to several girls from the Team.
won the 3,200 meters with a time of 10 minutes, 57.7 seconds.

Margo also finished second in the 1,600 meters with a time of 4 minutes, 55.14 seconds.
Margo's sister, Mary, finished fourth in the same event with a time of 5 minutes, 1.8 seconds.
Abby O'Connel finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 56.43 seconds.
Abby also finished third in the 200 meters with a time of 25.54 seconds.
Margo, Mary and Abby will now compete in the 2012 PIAA (state) championships at Shippensburg University from May 25-26.
The top four finishers in each event automatically qualify for the state meet, as do any athletes that hit a state qualifying standard and finish in at least eighth place.
