Rochester Road In Ross Flooded By Water-Spewing Hydrant

Rochester Road had to be closed Thursday evening when a truck hit the hydrant.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Rochester Road has reopened following flooding that occurred Thursday after a truck hit a fire hydrant. Water from the hydrant began shooting into the air, flooding several homes, breaking windows and damaging nearby vehicles.

It's unclear how many homes were damaged, but the Red Cross was providing the affected families with assistance after several were forced to relocate Thursday night.
