Ross Commissioners Approve No-Parking Zone on Fairley Road
Board amends the parking ordinance to provide description of the no-parking zone.
Ross Township Commissioners voted 8-0-1, with Chris Eyster abstaining, to approve an amendment that adds an accurate description to its ordinance governing the newly created no-parking zone on Fairley Road.
, commissioners voted 7-0, with one abstention, to extend the no-parking zone along a narrow section of Fairley Road.
According to Commissioner Jerry O'Brien, the no -parking restriction is necessary so that emergency and postal service vehicles can navigate the street. Residents complained in July that their mail was not being delivered.
