Ross Fatal Hit-And-Run: Woman Held For Trial
The accident last month killed a Glenshaw attorney.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A woman will stand trial on charges related to a hit-and-run accident last month that killed a Glenshaw attorney.
Melinda Gregor, 29, of Ross, faces charges of accidents involving death, speeding, driving without a license and careless driving following a preliminary hearing before District Judge Richard Opiela of West View. Charges of endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with evidence.
Gregor is accused of hitting and killing Michael Menner, 50, on Babcock Boulevard the night of Dec. 17. The accident occurred near Shenanigans Bar and Grill as Menner was picking up his son, an employee at the Philadelphia Pretzel Factory.

Ross Township police officer and accident reconstructionist Michael Thomas testified that Gregor was traveling at 46 mph just before the crash, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. The speed limit on that portion of Babcock Boulevard is 35 mph.
Testimony also indicated that Menner might have had marijuana in his system when the accident occurred, although the toxicology report has not been completed.
