Ross Man Arrested In FBI Underage Sex Sting

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The FBI arrested a man accused of trying to arrange a sexual encounter with someone he believed was a 12-year-old he chatted with online. Undercover agents actually were posing as the girl.

Vikash Mishra, 40, of Ross, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.

Mishra admitted to authorities that he traveled to an Allegheny Park in order to engage in sexual activity with the purported girl, according to court documents. He had been exchanging online messages with undercover agents since last October, calling himself "Vik," telling the fake minor he was 35 and saying he lives near Ross Park Mall.
