Ross Man Pleads Guilty To Strangling Ex-Girlfriend

The murder occurred in the man's apartment.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A Ross man has pleaded guilty to strangling his ex-girlfriend last year. Robert Metz, 68, pleaded guilty on Monday to third-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

Metz admitted to killing Dolores Miller, 58, of Sheraden after she went to his residence in the Perrytowne Place Apartments last June to retrieve some belongings. Miller’s body was discovered in the apartment three days after she was last seen at her job at the Westin Convention Center hotel.

Metz will be sentenced in April.
