Ross Philly Pretzel Factory Expected To Open Friday
The fourth Philly Pretzel Factory franchise to open in the Pittsburgh area will be located on Babcock Boulevard.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - After several months of anticipation, the long-awaited Philly Pretzel Factory on Babcock Boulevard is expected to open on Friday. The eatery, which sells pretzel dogs, pretzel cheesesteaks, spicy pretzel sausages, pepperoni pretzel melts and other pretzel delicacies, will be located across the street from Shenanigan’s Bar and Grille.
“We will officially be open on Friday September 1. Finally, the time has come and the date is set (with or without signage),” a post on the establishment’s Facebook page stated. “We are so very excited to...finally open our doors! Thank you all very very much for your patience.”
The Philly Pretzel Factory’s hours are not yet posted on the franchise’s website.

Franchise owner Scott Kallen, a Philadelphia native who also owns a Philly Pretzel franchise in Bridgeville, announced on Facebook in May that the eatery would open in a few weeks but encountered delays.
Philly Pretzel Factory was founded in 1998 and today has more than 100 locations, mostly in the northeast. Besides the Bridgeville location, the chain’s other western Pennsylvania franchises are in Cranberry and Monroeville.
