Ross Police Establish Database To Aid Autistic People
The database will be used when Ross police encounter autistic and special needs people.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA —The township police department has established a database for residents with autism spectrum disorder or other special needs.
Ross officers occasionally encounter people who are unable to provide them with any or accurate information regarding their identity, home address or contact information for family members.
The database will provide police with an ability to check when encountering such people and to assist officers in reuniting them with their family.
