Ross Township Fire: No Injuries In Duplex Blaze

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - No injuries were reported in a Peoples Road fire that damaged a duplex early Thursday morning. The four children and two adults who live in the two units were evaluated by paramedics but none needed to be hospitalized.

“It appears that the flat screen TV may have been what ignited the fire,” Ross fire marshal John Reubi told WTAE-TV. “The resident also indicated the fire was in the area of the TV set.”

Although the duplex suffered heavy smoke damage, Reubi said one side of it remains livable.
