Ross Township Man Killed in Lawrenceville Shooting
A father and son are facing charges.
Pittsburgh police have charged a father and son with the shooting death of Gary Hager, 46, of .
The suspects are Maurice Tigney, 24, and his father, Darrell Tigney, 52.
Police said the victim got into an argument over an earlier drug deal with the two suspects around 4 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Quick Stop convenience store in the 33-hundred block of Liberty Avenue.

Witnesses told KDKA TV they heard three loud pops, which sounded like gunfire.
The Tigneys were sitting in the Quick Stop parking lot when Hager approached their vehicle and began arguing. Hager reportedly tried to return to his vehicle but was stopped and assaulted by Darrell Tigney. Maurice Tigney then shot Hager in the torso during the altercation, said Police Cmdr. Thomas Stangrecki.

Hager was able to run into the store for help before collapsing. He was rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital where he later died.
Both Maurice and Darrell Tigney are charged with criminal homicide and are in the Allegheny County jail.
