Update: West View Postpones Halloween Trick or Treating
Residents who pre-registered their children can still pick up a goodie bag.

West View Mayor J.R. Henry Monday morning cancelled West View's Halloween parade because of the expected severe weather from Hurricane Sandy.
"Residents, who pre-registered their children, for the parade are encouraged to stop at the West View Municipal Building located at 441 Perry Highway, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to pick up a goodie bag,” said Henry in an email.
On Monday afternoon, trick or treating in West View was rescheduled to Saturday, Nov. 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Ross Township commissioners Sunday agreed to postponed Halloween trick or treating until Saturday, Nov. 3 from 6-8 p.m.
"We thought with the weather forecast being so poor for Wednesday, that it was the right call," said Commission Board President Grant Montgomery. "Saturday is supposed to be dry and warmer, so we think it is wise to wait."
