Ross Woman Guilty in Attorney's Hit-And-Run Death

PITTSBURGH, PA - A jury didn't buy Melinda Gregor's claim that she believed she hit a deer the night her vehicle struck and killed a Shaler attorney in December 2017. Gregor, 30, of Ross was found guilt Monday on charges related to the death of Michael Menner, 50.

Menner was struck as he crossed Babcock Boulevard near Shenanigans Bar And Grill as he was going to pick up his son, an employee at the Philadelphia Pretzel Factory. Gregor had
just picked up a pizza with her daughter from Monte Cellos on Babcock.

Gregor took the stand last week, testifying that when something smashed into her windshield on a a rainy night she was convinced it was a deer.

Gregor will be sentenced in July.
