Ross Woman Held For Court In Fatal Hit-And-Run Incident

The woman faces multiple criminal charges in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in January.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman accused of a fatal hit-and-run will in January be arraigned next month following a preliminary hearing Friday.

Erin Petroski, 39, of Ross, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, driving under the
influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed and careless driving.

Petroski is accused of causing the death of Elizabeth Griser, 32, who was struck on Babcock Boulevard on Jan. 13 and later died from her injuries.

WPXI-TV reported that a patrolman testified that police tracked a White Highlander to Petroski's home using surveillance video and vehicle registration. The officer said he could smell alcohol on her breath when he arrived at her house.
