Ross Woman's Trial Begins In Attorney's Hit-And-Run Death
Michael Menner of Shaler was hit by her car as he crossed Babcock Boulevard.

PITTSBURGH, PA - A jury will have to decide whether a Ross woman know she struck someone in a fatal hit-and-run incident or believed she struck a deer. Melinda Gregor, 30, went on trial Wednesday on charges related to the December 2017 death of Michael Menner, 50, a Shaler attorney.
Menner was struck on Babcock Boulevard near Shenanigans Bar and Grill as he was going to
pick up his son, an employee at the Philadelphia Pretzel Factory. Gregor had just picked up a pizza with her daughter from Monte Cellos on Babcock.
Prosecutor Ryan Kiray contended that Menner had to have known she struck a person that night, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. He also noted that when police traced down Gregor, they found a damage portion of the windshield had been cut away.
