Superstorm Sandy is heading out of our area, and the National weather service is discontinuing many of its watches and warnings.

- Today: Rain. High near 48. Breezy, with a northeast wind 16 to 21 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Tonight: Rain. Low around 37. East wind 6 to 8 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Wednesday: Rain. High near 44. West wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Wednesday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 37. West wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
