Smart Driver Course (Refresher)*

At the beginning
of 2014, AARP changed the name of its Driver Safety Course to Smart
Driver Course. Northland Public Library is pleased to sponsor two Smart
Driver Courses in August for those who are 55 years old and above.
Pennsylvania mandates a discount of at least 5% on automobile insurance
for those who complete a Smart Driver Course.

The Refresher Course, for those who have completed the two-day course
within the last three years, will be offered on Tuesday, August 19 from
9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

For those who are taking the course for the first time or those who have
not taken the refresher course within the last three years, the two-day
course will be held on Thursday and Friday, August 21 and 22, from 9:30
a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The fee for each of the courses is $15.00 for AARP members; $20.00 for
non-members.

Please register and pay for the course at the Adult Reference Desk on
the upper level. There is NO online registration for these courses.
