Stiletto Heels A Big Deal For North Hills Homecoming Dance
Here's what you need to know to avoid damaging the recently resurfaced gym floor where the dance will occur.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - North Hills School District officials have a point to make to girls attending this weekend’s homecoming dance: Keep the stiletto heels off of the gym floors.
The floors recently were resurfaced and the new surface is soft. Although the annex gym floor surface will have a protective covering, the covering also can be penetrated by sharp objects.
While students are welcome to wear high heels, any sharply pointed shoes should be removed before dancing on the gym floor. Any type of footwear can be safely checked in the coat area during the event.
