Stop Sign at Highland and Bellevue Becomes Permanent Wednesday
The sign, installed temporarily in June, will remain, according to a vote by the West View Borough Council Wednesday.

West View Borough Council voted Wednesday to make permanent the stop sign at the intersection of Highland and Bellevue avenues, creating a three-way stop.
The measure passed unanimously, though Councilman Barry Schell was absent.
Highland Avenue runs one way, and it sends traffic west to Perry Highway. Bellevue Avenue is often used by drivers as an alternative route to Rochester Road, according to many who live close to the intersection.
