Students Of The Year: North Hills School District Seniors Team Up For The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Together with their family and friends, the duo formed "Team Blue Bird," choosing the name because it symbolizes hope.

North Hills High School seniors Kevin Tian and Jenny Snyder are taking part in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s 2022 Students of the Year campaign with the goal of raising $20,000 for the organization by April 1!

Together with their family and friends, the duo formed “Team Blue Bird,” choosing the name because it symbolizes hope.
“Blue Bird reminded us of the innocence of youth and good health that we hope every child gets to experience as we work toward finding a cure for blood cancer!” they wrote.

One hundred percent of funds donated to Team Blue Bird will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Kevin and Jenny are also hosting a paint night at Ocean Treasures restaurant on McKnight Road at 6 p.m. on March 5. The cost to attend is $40 and all proceeds will benefit Team Blue Bird. RSVP to 412-627-0518 by March 3.
