Toddler Girl Who Fell from West View Apartment Window Back Home
Her mother said all of "her prayers have been answered."
A 20-month old girl who fell approximately 15 feet from the first-floor window of a home at 254 Perry Highway in Monday night is back home with her family.
Mary Hilty said her daughter Olivia, and the girl's 3-year old brother, were playing on the living room coach, directly in front of a window.
"Apparently she or he knocked out the screen, and out she went," said Hilty.

Hilty believe a large plastic trash can below the window broke the little girl's fall.

West View police investigated the incident, and said no charges would be filed.
"We don't believe there was any malicious intent or neglect," said Officer Matt Pavelcic of the West View police department. "However, because a child was injured, Allegheny County Children Youth and Families was notified of the incident."
