Traffic Alert: Bridge Inspection to Restrict I-279 Traffic in Ross

and residents may experience traffic delays Wednesday night and early Thursday morning along I-279.

Weather permitting, PennDOT bridge inspectors will be checking the bridge that carries Perrysville/Ivory Avenue over I-279.

Single lane closures will occur in both directions between the Perrysville (Exit 5) and McKnight/Evergreen Road (Exit 4) interchanges from 9 p.m. Wednesday until 5 a.m. Thursday.

Drivers are advised to use caution, slow down, and be prepared for changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
