Upcoming Events: Important Dates in the North Hills School District

Labor Day is over, and the school year is in full swing. Here's a lits of upcoming dates to put on your calendar.

Wednesday & Thursday, Sept. 5-6
Star Assessment Testing
students will take the first Star Assessment testing of the year next week. This web- based standardized testing will consist of multiple-choice questions in both math and reading. The results will provide teachers with feedback that will allow them to differentiate their lessons to better meet the needs of all learners.

Thursday, Sept. 6 
Seventh and Eighth-Grade Open House.  - 6 p.m.

All Open House information has been uploaded to the Junior High website under the Open House tab. Please note there are different programs designed for the parents of seventh-graders and eight- graders. Be sure to read all information carefully. Parents are asked to print their child's schedule from ProgressBook and bring it with them. 

Friday, Sept. 7
PTO Ice Cream Social. 6:30-8 p.m. 

Saturday, Sept. 8
SoccerFest. Starts at 9 a.m.
North Hills Soccer Parents Association will host Soccerfest on Sept. 8 with soccer games at Martorelli Stadium. The daylong event showcases North Hills School District's junior high and high school boys' and girls' soccer teams. Learn more and view the day's schedule...

Market day pickup. 5-6 p.m.

Community Swim Program Registration
Registration for the North Hills Community Swim Program will be held on Sept. 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the North Hills Junior High School large group instruction room. Registration will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more...
