West View Council Approves Purchase of New Police Car
2011 Ford Crown Victoria will replace 5-year-old vehicle.
West View Borough Council on Wednesday approved the purchase of a new police car, a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, from Woltz & Wind Ford.
The $23,761 purchase passed unanimously; Councilman Barry Schell was absent.
Borough Police Chief Bruce Fromlak said the move was part of the normal rotation of police vehicles and that the new car would replace a 5-year-old car with more than 80,000 miles on the odometer.
