Woodland Hills Defeats North Hills 27-7
The Indians are eliminated in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs.

The season is over for the North Hills Indians. The Woodand Hills Wolverines defeated North Hills 27-7 Friday night at the Wolverina.
The first and majority of the second quarter featured strong defensive showings and no teams got on the board until late in the first half.
Senior quarterback Cody McLelland hooked up with senior wide receiver Ryan Welsh for a 34-yard touchdown pass. The play would be the only points of the first half, and Woodland Hills would take a 7-0 lead into halftime.

North Hills got the ball to start the second half but fumbled on the second play.
Woodland Hills recovered and eventurally converted for a touchdown with a 1-yard scoring run by running back Miles Sanders. Sanders, the freshman, played a huge role in the game for the Wolverines with close to 100 yards on the ground.

North Hills would get their only points of the ballgame through the defense. On a mishandled snap, junior linebacker Corey Bopp was able to pick the loose ball up and run it to the end zone for a 24-yard return, giving North Hills life and making it interesting. It was Bopp's first career varsity touchdown and it couldn't have come at a better time.
However, North Hills was unable to score again while the Wolverines scored 13 unanswered points.
The Indians finish the season 6-4, losing three of their last four games.
The Indians return next year without stars Brian Johnson, Josh Hulbert, Anthony Danko, Tyler Reddick, and Jordan Blackmon.
