LCCC Center for Leadership Offers Certificate Program, Leading Through Crisis, focusing on real-world workplace issues,

The Center for Leadership and Workforce Development at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering a Leading Through Crisis certificate program, led by Jason S. Jones, a facilitator in communication and leadership.
The program will be conducted via web conference with four sessions scheduled on Wednesdays, Sept. 23 through Oct. 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $197 per person.

- Emotional Intelligence – Improve your ability to resolve conflict constructively, create a productive work environment, build and mend relationships and bounce back from setbacks and disappointment.
- Managing Emotions – Learn the tools you need to recognize emotional triggers, control your emotional and physical responses and handle other’s emotions.
- Building a Respectful Workplace – Learn to consistently demonstrate respect in day-to-day interactions that contribute to a respectful environment.
- Leading through Change – Gain the tools and techniques to more effectively lead change efforts in your organization.
Jason S. Jones leads communication and leadership courses to help college students and businesses improve their skills. Jones focuses on real-world workplace issues that his participants encounter in business and academia. He has taught at Penn State University, Eastern University and Lebanon Valley College, as well as a wide-range of businesses and state government agencies such as Volvo/Mack Trucks, GlaxoSmithKline, and the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission. He currently resides in the Harrisburg area.
