LCCC Focuses on Job Training for Businesses for certification in computerized bookkeeping and accounting practices using QuickBooks.
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will offer training for certification in computerized bookkeeping and accounting practices with the use of QuickBooks software. Classes will be held Sept. 12 through Nov. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at LCCC’s Allentown site. In addition, students will learn payroll computation, tax reporting and accounts receivable and payable. Cost is $842; text is additional. Call 610-799-1942 for course requirements.
Prepare for high-priority occupations in the customer service field while learning workplace skill development, communications and basic computer competency with a program held at the college’s Allentown site from Sept. 12 through Nov. 18, from 12 to 3 p.m. The fee for the customer service and communication class is $1,015 with an additional fee for the textbook.
