LCCC Helping Students Improve Their English with Spring 2020 classes in ESL 1, ESL 2, ESL 3 and Speaking Skills/ESL.

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering courses to help students improve their English speaking skills. The following English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are held at LCCC’s Donley Center on Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pa. All levels offer a daytime class held 9 a.m. to noon. or an evening course from 6 to 9 p.m. The fee for each course is $175.
ESL 1 course teaches beginner and low intermediate students. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays on the following dates:
Jan. 21 through March 5; March 10 through April 23; and April 28 through June 11

A second level course, ESL 2, is for high-intermediate to advanced ESL students. The following classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays.
Jan. 20 through March 4; March 9 through April 22; and April 27 through June 10

ESL 3 course is recommended for advanced ESL or individuals who completed the second level course. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays on Jan. 21 through March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.; March 10 through April 23 from 9 a.m. to noon; and April 28 through June 11 from 6 to 9 p.m.
In addition, individuals can improve speaking for shopping, visiting the doctor, using the telephone or to communicate with co-workers and supervisors. Speaking Skills/ESL will be held Saturday, Feb. 1 through April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon.
