LCCC Holds Comprehensive Phlebotomy Instruction

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will offer a comprehensive course in phlebotomy that includes 20 hours of Medical Terminology and 80 hours of Phlebotomy classroom/lab instruction. For students interested in clinical certification, an additional 100 hours of on-the-job training is required. Two evening courses are offered; one at LCCC’s main campus in Schnecksville beginning Feb. 8 and the other at LCCC Tamaqua at the Morgan Center starting Feb. 23. Both are held from 6-9 p.m.; cost is $1,138.

Any additional costs, such as textbooks, materials fee and medical clearance or immunizations fees required by clinical locations, are the responsibility of the student.
