LCCC Holds Comprehensive Phlebotomy Instruction for Fall 2018

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will offer a comprehensive course in phlebotomy that includes 20 hours of Medical Terminology and 80 hours of Phlebotomy classroom/lab instruction. For students interested in clinical certification, they must apply for an additional 100 hours of on-the-job training at affiliated labs. An evening course will be held Mondays and Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m., beginning Aug. 13 through Dec. 12 at LCCC’s Schnecksville campus, 718 West Hamilton Street. Cost is $1,518 (includes textbooks).

Any additional costs, such as textbooks, materials fee and medical clearance or immunizations fees required by clinical locations, are the responsibility of the student.
