LCCC Holds Summer 2016 New Student Orientation Sessions in Preparation for the Fall Semester, which begins August 20.

LCCC Holds Summer 2016 New Student Orientation Sessions in Preparation for the Fall Semester, which begins August 20.

New students to Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will be able to meet with other new students and meet peer mentors in the scheduled new student orientation sessions in preparation for the fall semester at LCCC. Fall classes begin as early as Saturday, August 20.

All first-time freshmen must attend a new student orientation session, which will help them transition to the college environment. All students new to LCCC would also benefit. Orientation sessions are scheduled throughout the summer, beginning June 23. Students can sign up online at www.lccc.edu/orientation.

Students will learn about student life, technology resources, academic policies, student rights and responsibilities as an LCCC student. A separate parent/family orientation will include information about college services, student life, support services and financial aid. When registering for an orientation session, students should complete the Course Planner portion so they will receive their class schedule for their first semester. Students must also have completed their placement testing. Advisors will be on hand to make any course changes.
