LCCC Honor Society Held Induction Ceremony

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) inducted 15 students into the college’s chapter of Psi Beta in October. Psi Beta is the national honor society for psychology majors at two-year colleges and encourages professional development and psychological literacy of all students through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research and community service.

LCCC’s induction ceremony included remarks from Dr. Andra Basu, associate academic dean at LCCC. The following students were recognized for their high academic achievement.

Alburtis: Lacie Savacool.

Allentown: Deandre Avinger, Ashley Fuentes, Paul Leiby, Daniel Martin, Kristal Wallace and Shagufta Zaidi.

Fogeslville: Nadia Latzgo.

Lenhartsville: Elizabeth Schaeffer.

Macungie: Emily Kelly.

New Tripoli: Kayla Feinour.

Slatington: Samantha Eden.

Whitehall: Carissa Franges, Mirna Sabbagh and Cindy Strausbaugh.
