LCCC Hosts 8TH Annual CLIU Transition Academy Day

Lehigh
Carbon Community College hosts the 8th annual Carbon Lehigh
Intermediate Unit (CLIU) Transition Academy Day on Friday, April 25, at LCCC
Main Campus in Schnecksville from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The
Transition Academy Day is an event that provides information about effectively
transitioning from high school to post-secondary education at a two-year or
four-year college or university to students with disabilities in Lehigh and
Carbon counties. Attending students experience college first-hand and
participate in workshops that cover essential topics such as Financial Aid,
maintaining proper nutrition while at college, and making wise choices.

Troy Hein
of WFMZ Sports and other guests will speak on the event’s theme “Grow Your
Future.”
