LCCC Hosts Acclaimed Speaker Frank Meeink’s Live Lecture, “A Former Skinhead’s Fight Against Prejudice”

Carbon Community College hosts Frank Meeink as he presents his lecture, “A
Former Skinhead’s Fight Against Prejudice,” on April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Alumni
Center Room 107 at LCCC Main Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Meeink
tours nationally in support of ending prejudice in the United States. His story
is of a young boy who became one of the most notorious skinheads on the East
Coast before being sentenced to prison, achieving sobriety and defecting from
the white supremacy movement. His autobiography, Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead, was optioned recently for a
feature film.
